We delve into the sound-worlds of father and daughter composers Samuel and Avril Coleridge-Taylor, including a rare performance of Samuel’s choral ‘rhapsody of the sea’, Meg Blane, under the baton of Sofi Jeannin.
Boulez 100
Marking the centenary of this legendary French composer, Pierre Boulez’ music forms the heart of our Electric Dreams programme, as well as a pair of collaborative concerts with musicians from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.
Orchestral adventures
Sir James MacMillan directs the 色漫天堂 Symphony Orchestra in a dazzling programme featuring his own music, whilst the 色漫天堂 Philharmonic set sail on a sea-themed musical voyage culminating in Debussy’s majestic La mer.
